The Cuban Club
- Neighborhood: Ybor City
- 2010 Avenida Republica de Cuba
- Tampa, FL 33605
The Cuban Club first opened its doors in 1917 as a gathering place for members of the Cuban National Club. Now the impressive neoclassical building hosts several events throughout the year in one or more of the available event spaces. Outside, a large concrete patio complete with music bandshell. It's always a popular spot for evening concerts. Inside, walk down to the cantina, complete with a sunken dancefloor and stage surrounded by a bar and plenty of room to people watch from above. Upstairs is a roomy theatre with seats ready to pop down for a movie or live performance. The grand ballroom takes up the entire top floor. It's also the place to go if you're looking for some fresh air and some nice views of the city, or a smoke.
