Pride & Passion Fundraiser

The Tampa Museum of Art (TMA) hosted the fourth annual Pride and Passion event on Friday, May 29 at 8 p.m. to midnight in downtown Tampa's Rivergate Tower. This year's theme, Constructing the Future, celebrated the new museum facility that's under construction and scheduled to open in early 2010. The event coincides with the kick-off national Gay Pride Month and is designed to engage current and new museum members, along with broader segments of the community.

Heavy hors d'oeuvres and desserts were served, provided by Bern's Steak House and SideBern's, and an open bar was available throughout the evening. Music at the event showcased electronic music, featuring Acho Brother, World Wide Zoo and Cosmic Passage.
