What would your favorite bar be like without your favorite bartender? You can't have Cheers without Woody, Sam, Carla or Rebecca, and you certainly can't have your local watering-hole without those special drink fillers. Knowing this, we've decided to feature a different local bartender each week and share who they are with you.

Hometown: College Station, Texas.  It’s a small town in Texas and the only way you were able to get there was by train.

 

How long have you worked at Hard Rock Seminole Casino?
3 years.

 

Have you bartended anywhere else?
Yes, Jackson’s and in Texas for 4 years.

 

What is the most requested drink?
As for a drink it has to be Vodka Cran and for a shot it’s either Patron or Jager Bombs.

 

What is your favorite drink to drink?
Grey Goose/Water with Roses Lime Juice. I also love Johnny Vegas all the way, I don’t play!!!!

 

Where did you learn to bartend?
I started out cocktailing and worked my way up.  I learned from the bottom up and I think to it really helped me understand bartending a bit more.

 

What’s your biggest pet peeve with bar-goers?
When people don’t tip.  Respect bartenders as we respect you.

 

What do you like most about bartending?
I love the scheduling.

 

Do you know any bar tricks?
I can make a customer’s money disappear =)

 

Has anyone ever asked you for a martini ‘shaken not stirred?’
Yeah, we get asked every drink possible; we are a casino.

 

Have you seen Coyote Ugly?
Yes

 

What’s the craziest experience you’ve had while working?
Super Bowl week was madness.

 

What do you like to do when you’re not bartending?
I love to relax. I love to have a great cocktail and spend with my friends.

 

What do you want to do in the future?
I don’t want to grow up.  I’ll eventually own my own company because I don’t want to work for anyone else.

 

If you could tell customers anything you wanted, what would it be?
Respect us as we respect you, it goes a long way.

Where can we find you? I work at the Center bar at the Hard Rock Seminole Casino.  You can also pick up the Floyd’s calendar Tampa Bay edition and I’m Miss January and if you have the 2007 edition, I was the first center fold ever since the calendar launched.
