The Rare Olive is one of two bars in St. Petersburg and Tampa. The St. Petersburg bar has a low key (but fun!) atmosphere with a mix of younger and older patrons who come to listen to St. Petersburg's best live music.
Jazz and rock are heard most frequently in the darkened smokey rooms and the +21 admittance keeps the college crowd (that dominate downtown) from tainting the more mature, almost classy environment.
