The scene: The Orpheum is the place for hipsters, emo kids, and punk rockers alike. Slightly off the main path in Ybor, this dive bar is everything you expect from a place with rock shows and cheap drinks – disgusting bathrooms, lazy half-assed bartenders, and patrons that always have a cigarette in their hands. Live acts perform on various nights every week, with talent ranging from crappy local bands to moderately well-known musicians. The majority of the shows are all-ages, but after the live acts end, it’s 18 and up. Most of this venue’s customers are in their early 20s.
