Upscale bar food by day and cocktails by night, this John Ringling-inspired lounge inside the luxurious Ritz-Carlton has proven to be a hot spot for vacationers and locals alike. It has a masculine appeal to it: dimly lit and classic English-style decor, with dark wood walls, tables and bar and comfy couches and chairs in a mixture of deep greens, reds and antique gold accents. 

"Chophouse-style" food and a variety of appetizers are served after 2:30 p.m., and the bar kicks off after nightfall with live music, dancing and cocktails. From Tuesday through Saturday nights, the Cà d’Zan features bands such as Charlie Vegas and the New Blues Combo (swing/blues), John Rinell Trio (Ratpack/Sinatra), Jennifer Leigh and Her New Digs (cabaret jazz) ; Omni (dance band); Big Z Band (motown/R&B/  dance), The Burn Band (all over the map from The Jackson 5 to The Beatles; pop/rock/funk/motown/soul), and Blue Star Highway (new dance and rock).

After 9 p.m., the bar welcomes adults over 21-year-old. Take a look at the large wine and cocktail menu, as it has drinks that change with the seasons, as well as Cà d’Zan Lounge's signature Chocolate Martini, voted "Best Martini" by Sarasota Magazine's readers from 2004 through 2007. There is also a late-night dining menu offered from 11 p.m. to close. Resort casual attire (collared shirts and dress slacks for males; no shorts, sneakers, hats and t-shirts) is necessary after 6 p.m.
