Brew Garden is owned by Savino Sterlacci, who also owns the World of Beer store on Gulf-to-Bay Blvd. Savino used to be a part owner in the World of Beer bar in Westchase, but sold his share of the partnership to focus on his new venture. So why would someone abandon one of the most popular bars in Tampa to open an entirely new business, especially during a recession? Savino said he thought it was time for Clearwater to have a bar as nice as the ones in Tampa. Well played, Mr. Sterlacci, well played.
