The Crowbar is one of the few venues around Tampa that consistently brings in original rock bands. While on some nights it's just the band and their friends, it can get packed on theme nights like 80's prom night. Lit up with strings of Christmas lights, the Crowbar does not cater to the tourist crowd and rarely gets brighter than dim outside of the stage lights.
On busy nights, or if you want to give the ringing in your ears a rest, there is some outdoor seating in the large patio area that leads out to 8th Ave.

- Street Parking Difficult. Park in the Ybor City garage to avoid a ticket and the hassel of looking for a spot
