Best Bets: Animal bars

Despite their beastly names, it won't be a rabies shot you'll need a chaser for at these bars. You will, however, find plenty of shooters at each of these spots.

These watering holes take their names from creatures of the ground, sky, and sea, from sharks and hawks to parrots and ponies. No matter the namesake, you should pounce on the great drink specials and atmosphere offered at these top spots. They'll have you purring like a pride of lions before you know it.
