The LA Hangout, sister bar of the University Area Hangout on Fowler, is one of the most popular bars in the area. With the variety of daily events and drink specials, it's not surprising that the LA Hangout claims to be the area landmark. Throughout the week, the Hangout hosts beer pong tournaments, dart tournaments, and Texas Hold 'Em tournaments, as well as hospitality nights, karaoke nights, and bike nights.
Drink specials include $1 drinks on Mondays and nickel beers on Thursdays, though every day Happy Hour runs from open to 7 p.m. On the weekends, the Hangout has live bands, but on any night, the pool tables, dart boards, foosball, and video games offer plenty of amusement for everyone.
