The NFL confirmed that Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will perform at the halftime show in Tampa next year. Springsteen follows the Rolling Stones, U2, Paul McCartney, Prince and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers as the latest rock 'n' roll legend to play for the nation at the year's most watched television event. Maybe inviting stars who might draw a younger crowd made the NFL execs weary about putting anyone under 50 on stage. (Thanks Janet and Justin!)
Here's the best part, the production company in charge of putting on the halftime show is looking for volunteers. That will get you on the field during the show, but you have to commit to the rehearsal time. Sign up here.
