I was at the rally! I wish everyone could have heard the countdown going on as we waited for CNN to announce Barack as President. Chicago is the best city in the world and Barack Obama is going to make us a better nation! Yes we did!!!

From the Chicago Tribune Nov 6 By John von Rhein and Greg Kot | Tribune critics: Who wrote the music that was playing after Barack Obama's speech at his victory rally Tuesday in Grant Park? The Obama rally included the song "Titans Spirit," from the soundtrack to the 2000 film "Remember the Titans," which starred Denzel Washington. It was written by Trevor Rabin, the South African-American musician best known as a guitarist and songwriter for the British progressive rock band Yes, which he joined in the 1980s. He quit the band in 1994 to focus on writing movie scores.

I read that the music was the theme from Remember the Titans.

I am trying to identify the title and composer of the heroic closing music at the Grant Park Rally. It was perfect for the setting-powerful yet uderstated.
