A Christmas Story House
As the weather turns colder and the days are cut shorter, the only things Clevelanders have left to look forward to are sports and the holidays. What better way to get out of the house and celebrate the season than with a visit to "A Christmas Story" House & Museum? Located in Tremont, you can plan a great weekend around visiting the house, museum and gift shop. Stop in during the day for a brief tour of the house—tours are offered every 30 minutes with the last one scheduled at 4:30 p.m.
After touring the house, visit Pearl of the Orient at either location—the eatery is now the official Chinese restaurant of "A Christmas Story" House. Don't forget to show your ticket stub to the server to receive 10 percent off your bill. And to make it an even more memorable night, order the Peking duck, aka Chinese turkey. Yup, just like in the movie. However, we can't guarantee there will be any "fa ra ra ra ra" singing to accompany your meal.
