Asia Fest

Asia Fest celebrated the sights, sounds and tastes of the Far East at Hillsborough County’s 26th annual Asia Fest 2009 at the St. Pete Times Forum. Festival goers enjoyed a variety of exhibits and entertainment featuring cultural performances, a fashion show with native costumes, martial arts demonstrations and authentic Asian cuisine from Cambodia, China, India, Japan, Korea, Laos, Myanmar, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam.

The annual Tampa Bay International Dragon Boat races started off the day with paddlers from across the U.S. and Canada competing.
