By all accounts, Stevie “Gold Dust Woman” Nicks should have OD’ed decades ago, but she and guitar virtuoso/ex-lover Lindsey Buckingham, drummer/ex-lover Mick Fleetwood and bassist John McVie have been making classic smooth rock hits since the Ford administration. Keyboardist/vocalist Christine McVie (yep, she and John were once married) stopped touring years ago, but the rest of the Mac’s classic lineup soldiers on. Despite the solidarity on stage, you could almost feel the rifts still clinging to this reunion. (Or maybe that's just the drama And the only time we got Stevie and Lindsay in the same frame was on the jumbotron. The band sang dusted off the song culled from their tumultuous history. This “Unleashed” tour focuses on the group’s greatest hits and treated the fans to favorites including “Landslide,” “Rhiannon,” “Don’t Stop,” “Go Your Own Way,” and “The Chain.” The night summed up with the meloncholy "Silver Springs" and achingly phophetic lyrics.
