Sugary star cookies

1. Make traditional sugar cookie dough from scratch or purchase pre-made dough to work with.

2. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

3. Roll the dough to approximately 1/8 inch in thickness and cut with a star-shaped cookie cutter.

4. Place on ungreased cookie sheets and decorate with red and blue sugar.

5. Bake for 5 to 6 minutes or until edges are light brown.

6. Cool and enjoy!
