what a shame - that the tampa bay 6 county metro area of over 1 million - has only two of its smallest communites holding 4th of July festivities/parades - GOD Bless Gulfport and Treasure Island. what is this jaded country coming to? all the freedoms we have due in large part to our fighting soldiers and disabled veterans - YES, I know, it's a DOWN economy, but for gosh sakes can't our bigger cities do something to honor those who fought and celebrate this glorious day?? COME ON PEOPLE - THINK AND CELEBRATE!!
