Are they all hippies who wear Birkenstocks in Boulder or are they more common than you would first think? The answer is 'yes' on both allegations. Liberals believe that everyone should be respected regardless of being different; they believe in freedom of speech and public debates; they believe that the government should add a safety fluff to people. With that said, they are open-minded people with freedom of expression and beliefs. And yes, a lot of them are members of the 'Rainbow people' who attend the annual Burning Man celebrations.
