Tropicana Field
- One Tropicana Drive
- St. Petersburg, FL 33705
- 727-821-1071
Tropicana Field is home to the area's major league baseball team, the Tampa Bay Rays. "The Trop", as it is affectionately known by locals, is a domed, climate-controlled stadium that is highly visible from I-275.
When the team is in town, nearby streets become fairly congested around game time. Traffic is more pronounced when the Rays play against popular teams such as the New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox.
Some of Tropicana Field's unique features include a 10,000 gallon stingray touch tank and major league baseball's only in-stadium cigar bar.
Tickets are one of major league's best bargains, starting at nine dollars.
