The Heavy Pets are light on talk and heavy on the extended jams at The Dunedin Brewery. The Ft. Lauderdale by way of upstate NY band riffed on tunes off their new cd 'Whale.' The night's set also pulled in a Pink Floyd cover tune, perhaps to pay tribute to the recent passing of Fylod keyboardist Richard Wright earlier in the week. If you missed them, don't worry. They'll be back next weekend for the St. Pete Folk Fest.
