Centennial Park
- Neighborhood: Ybor City
- 1800 8th Ave. E
- Tampa, FL 33605
Centennial Park is busy every Saturday morning for a famer's market that brings in local growers and artists to Ybor. The mostly brick park is surrounded by shaded trees and benches, perfect for the weekend events and festivals including Flan Fest and Fiesta Italiana. This historical public space is flanked by a large pavilion one side and the Tampa Arts Studio on the other. It's also home to a statue of an immigrant's family representing the Italian and Cuban acenestors who built this historical section of the city.
At night it's relatively well lit, but keep your guard as you walk through. The homeless find that the shadows and the pavilion can be a good stop for the evening.
