Centro Ybor is the hub of Tampa's entertainment district. Encased in brick and old architecture, there's no mistaking that Centro is deeply embedded in the area's history. Like many of the historical buildings in Ybor, some of the surrounding buildings are former cigar factories.

Fast-forward several decades, and Centro is now a one-stop shop for an afternoon and evening out. A few shopping outlets are diverse enough to hold anyone's attention (Victoria's Secret, Urban Outfitters, International Bazaar, and La France). There are several restaurants to choose from with varying degrees of date-worthiness. Several clubs surround Centro to help burn off any dinner calories and come in a variety of genres from goth/punk at The Castle, funk and jazz at the Rare Olive, or top 40 dance at the Honey Pot.
