The 140 acres that make up GT Bray Park house a wide variety of things to do. Inexpensive (as little as $3.50 per day to use the pool or fitness room), and accessible, the park offers all of the following: Olympic swimming pool, kids pool, tennis courts, playground, basketball court, fitness room, skate park, baseball/softball fields, picnic area, horseshoe court, volleyball, bike and nature trails, and even a dog park.
Also available is an enclosed picnic area and grill for birthday parties and special events, which can be reserved at a nominal fee. GT Bray hosts summer "Tennis & Swim" camps, as well as area school sports teams, and periodically offers classes in yoga, tai chi, swimming and tennis.
The grounds are well kept and neat, restrooms clean, and you'll even find friendly staff members reguarly wiping down gym equipment.
If this weren't enough, GT Bray Park is about five minutes from Holmes and Bradenton Public Beach, restaurants, and area shops.
