Christian Bale rages all over "Terminator: Salvation"

With TV's "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" all but officially canceled and 2003's "Terminator: Rise of the Machines" still considered a disappointment, this is a franchise on life support. Enter energetic director McG ("Charlie's Angels") and the added gravitas of star Christian Bale, who's already succeeded in juicing up the Batman franchise.
