Adam Sandler joins the Apatow universe for "Funny People"

In the third directorial outing for Judd Apatow ("The 40-Year-Old Virgin," "Knocked Up"), Adam Sandler stars as a comedian who recovers from a terminal illness. Nice to see Apatow tackling bigger ideas and opening up his awesome-if-predictable cast to new blood. Eric Bana, Jason Schwartzman and RZA also join the crew, with regulars Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill and Apatow's wife Leslie Mann.

I read the script for Funny People and it was fantastic. It is definitely Apatow's most mature material to date.
