Dan Brown's conspiracy novel "The Da Vinci Code" was such a sensation that the movie couldn't help but make $750 million worldwide. Even though it wasn't actually, you know, good. This sequel is based on a book Brown wrote pre-"Da Vinci" but director Ron Howard and star Tom Hanks are using it to continue the adventures of symbologist Robert Langdon. Howard promises an entirely different approach. Let's hope so.
