Now: Since starring in the most successful movie of all time, “Titanic,” DiCaprio has had a run of critically acclaimed turns in “Catch Me If You Can,” “The Aviator,” “Blood Diamond,” “The Departed” and “Revolutionary Road” [pictured right].
Then: DiCaprio asserted himself as more than just a cute face from TV’s “Growing Pains” with 1993’s “What’s Eating Gilbert Grape” [pictured left]. Even opposite a commanding presence like Johnny Depp, DiCaprio displayed considerable range and depth in a role that led to an Oscar nomination.
Better when? It’s a tough call since he’s always been good, but DiCaprio keeps getting better with age.
