Excellent acting by Kristen Kreuk. I did not know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. Very pretty girl too. That being said, I want to address some of the directing choices in the film: I expected to see Chun Li use the fighting-while-blind thing that she was taught by Gen, but we didn't see that. I also expected the final fight scene to be more dramatic, but it was kind of boring. The fireball was used too soon and without dramatic effect. Otherwise, the fight scenes were terrific!
