Update/Correct this listing
Built in 1926 with partial funding from Paramount Studios, the Tampa Theatre is a bona fide movie palace, complete with a Mighty Wurlitzer organ (whose organist is three years older than the theatre itself). They play host to independent films, revivals of classic movies, concerts, special and corporate events, weddings, field trips and tours. Whatever the reason for your visit, be sure to take in the majesty of this painstakingly detailed theatre, from the 245,185 lobby tiles to the sprinkle of fairy lights dotted into the ceiling recreating a night sky.
