Centrally located near the Lakeland Public Library, Lake Morton, Downtown Lakeland, and Florida Southern College, the Polk Museum of Art serves as the hub of Lakeland's cultural and arts community. In addition to eight galleries and a sculpture garden, the museum also offers art classes for adults and children as well as film viewings, guest speakers, seminars and workshops. The museum's gift shop is a great place to find unique gifts, while the outdoor sculpture garden with its larger than life sculptures is a quiet, romantic place to go on a date.
