Centrally located near the Lakeland Public Library, Lake Morton , Downtown Lakeland , and Florida Southern College, the Polk Museum of Art serves as the hub of Lakeland 's cultural and arts community. In addition to eight galleries and a sculpture garden, the museum also offers art classes for adults and children as well as film viewings, guest speakers, seminars and workshops. The museum's gift shop is a great place to find unique gifts, while the outdoor sculpture garden with its larger than life sculptures is a quiet, romantic place to go on a date.
