Tampa Museum of Art

The Tampa Museum of Art is located in an interim location on N. Howard Avenue while construction gets underway for the new facility.  The new museum in downtown Tampa's Curtis Hixon Park is expected to open in the fall of 2009.  The Tampa Museum of Art's collection of contemporary art is in storage on on loan during construction.  There are a series of exhibitions planned in the interim location by regional and national artists.  The exhibit schedule is available online.  Admission is free with a donation.
