Tampa's Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI) is a 74-acre campus incorporating an interactive science center with more than 450 hands-on exhibits and a children's science center designed by kids that lets visitors activate, investigate and create. There is also a public library, a planetarium, a butterfly garden, a staging area, and Florida's only IMAX Dome Theater. MOSI suggests you plan four hours for your visit, which may be as much time as you want to spend walking around, but it’s not enough to really "do it all."

A general admission ticket gets you into the permanent exhibit halls (over 300,000 sq.ft), Kids in Charge! and a ticket to the IMAX. Reserve an entire day and spend time planning your visit on the Web site before you go. You’ll get the most out of your money.

Getting There

Cross Streets:: Faces E. Fowler Avenue, across from USF, between 46th and 50th Streets

Parking:: Available, Free Lot, and On Site. Accessible from E. Fowler Ave, and from 50th Street.

Public Transportation:: HARTline, Route 6

Benefits include free admission to regular exhibits, discounts for additional tickets, program and camp fees, and store purchases. You may also purchase a membership that includes the IMAX Theater.
