Sure, Mariah got such A-listers as T-Pain, Jermaine Dupri (pictured), Damian Marley, Swizz Beatz and Timbaland apprentice Nate “Danja” Hills to show up on her album. Big deal. Madonna got Timba himself—along with Justin Timberlake, Kanye West and Pharrell Williams (and, for good measure, she threw Nate “Danja” Hills on there, too—dude’s résumé is getting pretty stacked). All in all, “Hard Candy” features fewer collaborators, but really, who else do you need besides those guys?

Advantage: Madonna.
