Paul van Dyk
- The Ritz Ybor - 1503 East 7th Ave - Ybor City
The erstwhile king of all things trance, German producer-DJ-remixer Paul van Dyk has evolved his output over the course of his nearly 20-year career into something far less label-friendly. Its superclub, its vocal, its synth-laden, its dance, its electronic, its progressiveno descriptor (or string of them) quite captures the output of the twice-crowned Worlds No. 1 DJ. His new career-spanning retrospective album, Volume, displays both his depth and breadth. So, ditch the semantics and know this: he comes armed with two laptops and some keyboards, the beats will be big, the night will be long, and you will dance.
