Bizarre Florida Laws
If you look hard enough, every state in our fine country has some pretty weird, archaic rules and regulations in the legal system. Some are outdated, some are downright silly, and some make you wonder who must have tried to get away with the act in order for it to be passed as a law in the first place.
Arguably, however, Florida has some of the most oddball prohibitions and restrictions out there. Unmarried women cannot parachute on Sundays? Men may not be seen publicly in any kind of strapless gown? Seriously?!
We decided it might be fun to see exactly how much we could get away with when it comes to these crazy codes, so we chose ten of the most intriguing, bizarre-o laws the Sunshine State has on the books and went off to start testing our luck.
After all, it's better to beg forgiveness than ask permission, right?
