JD's Restaurant & Lounge is a little of both and offers live entertainment nightly. Locals come for the drinks and tourists usually wander in to the restaurant and find their way to the piano bar where one can often find a local performer crooning cover tunes by Billy Joel or Elton John.
The restaurant offers up standard beach and bar grub consisting of burgers, cheap steaks and the like but it also opens at 8 a.m. for breakfast. Located across the street from the beach. Unlike many places on the beach, this place doesn't really attract a party crowd.
