The Rod and Reel Pier may not look like much on the outside -- "rustic" is an appropriate description for this little waterfront pier restaurant. Chock full of Old Florida charm (much like Anna Maria itself) and a local favorite, there's prime viewing of pelicans, seabirds and sometimes even dolphins! Take a look outside -- beautful views of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge and the sun reflecting off the blue waters of Tampa Bay provide an excellent backdrop.

Fresh fish at a modest price, the restaurant's catch of the day includes grouper sandwiches, crab cakes, peel n' eat shrimp, along with burgers and fries.
