Home to the “world famous” grouper sandwich, the original café still maintains the same motto as it did back in 1981, to serve the best, freshest seafood in a friendly, casual spot. The original is the quieter spot of the mini-chain, offering a more family-friendly atmosphere. The menu still serves up most of the same local favorites as it did back in 1981, like the original grouper sandwich, famous smoked fish spread, seafood gumbo, baja tacos and more. When you’ve finished grubbin’, you can walk next door to Frenchy’s Off the Hook Gift Shop, featuring thousands of souvenirs that let you bring a little piece of Frenchy’s back home.

There is now a great 5 day special where you can eat all 5 days for a total of $18.85. Monday get the original sirloiner for $3.50, Tuesday get the baja fish taco for $1.50, Wednesday get the Cuban sandwhich for $3.95, Thursday get the buffalo chicken for $3.95, and on Friday get the shrimp basket for $5.95
