Frenchy's Saltwater Cafe
- 416 E. Shore Drive
- Clearwater, FL 33767
- Price range: $ (Under $9)
As part of the Frenchy’s family of beach restaurants, Frenchy's Saltwater Café is the second spo which opened back in 1989. It’s this café that introduced the beach to the popular seafood concoction, the Grouper Rueben.
With its colorful décor and beach shack atmosphere, it's obvious why so many locals and tourists come here for a laid-back, good time. The menu offers something for everyone, with dishes like fried oysters and crab cakes for the seafood lover and chicken sandwiches and reubens for the land lover. Regulars don’t fret; they still serve up Frenchy’s famous grouper sandwich and fish spread.
It's a small spot that’s big on good food and fun, where you can belly up to the bar for your favorite libation in a less-crowded, off-the-beach atmosphere.
