This lounge-style SoHo restaurant and sports bar is where the trendy go for Mexican food -- with a twist. The crowd tends to evolve to young professionals after work and partiers later on (which could explain why The Lime doesn’t have set closing hours). The menu, including tapas, lunch and dinner items, boasts upscale Mexican cuisine with South American and Brazilian twists.
Examples include the South American rice bowls (the classic paella version includes chicken, Brazilian chorizo, sweet peppers, green peas, Mexican rice and a saffron garlic broth) and the Brajita Bowls, The Lime’s version of Brazilian and Mexican fajitas.
As an added bonus, diners can enjoy fresh guacamole made tableside, while sipping on cocktails. Or, if beer is your choice, they've got 22 on tap. Late night Happy Hour and live DJ music are featured in the evening.
