A colorful and fun place, the Banana Cabana's atmosphere is equaled only by the Caribbean cuisine.
Voted "Best Seafood" by both the Sarasota and Bradenton Heralds, and given the thumbs up by Denzel Washington, the menu includes their "world famous" Seafood Paella, complete with shrimp, mussels, grouper in a coconut milk with saffron, served over a bed of rice. You will also find entrees like macadamia nut encrusted chicken, mango crab cakes, and Barbados ribs (with a choice of apple butter, jerk or BBQ sauce).
The Banana Cabana is one of the few restaurants you'll find where - if you like something hanging on the wall - you can take it with you. Imported and local art with a Caribbean flare (and lots of geckos!) can be purchased.
There's live music Friday and Saturday nights, with Bradenton Beach right across the street.
