Servers are incompetent

Overall rating:

Get rid of most of the servers and start over. You have been open long enough to "weed them out"
Complaints to management fall on deaf ears....hmmmm....maybe the management is the problem? Isn't it usually?
Great food will only carry your deli for a little while. Instead of downsizing your gourmet products, downsize the dead weight.

What a Sandwich!!

For people who are going to gripe about a $12 sandwich, this is not the place for you; however, if you love over-sized sandwiches that are topped with flavorful, fresh ingredients and sips of wine in a unpretentious, relaxing environment, then you MUST try Datz. And for those gripers - you are missing out but don't worry - they'll take you in and make you feel like family.

This place is unbelievable! I had the distinct pleasure of being invited to their ribbon cutting as well as to their friends and family day. The food is incredible and the choice of food/wine/beer/deli meats and cheeses/vinegars/olive oils is more than you can imagine. I can't say enough good things about this place, its owners and its staff - particularly Steve, Sparky and Patty. Make sure you make this a frequent stop when dining out.

Not to toot the horn for the place that I work for, but the food is WELL worth the money. I am so grateful to not only be able to work with great people, but also to sell the great food and products to soon to be equally great customers. It has been a long wait for this place to open, but when it finally does, I am sure the public will be VERY pleased.

I can't wait to meet all of you, very soon!

I regret to have to inform you dear foodies that the individual that posted this listing is correct in all but ONE item.
Datz Delicatessen does NOT offer daily or nightly specials at this time. There is no "stir-fry" anywhere in the building.
There IS, however some of the most imaginative and creative concepts for delictessen food that you will ever have the pleasure of putting in your mouths!
I have had several of the offerings and can personally attest to the fact that their commitment to quality and freshness are the payoff!
The Walter's Gone Crabbin' sandwich, the Just Duet sandwich, the Mama Mia three egg (cage free) omelet, the Briggete's Brioche, the grits, the toast, the bacon.... ALL are some of the very finest foods in quality, execution and presentation that I have experienced in my many years in the food business.
There are so many selections that even the choosiest epicure you know will be able to find SOMETHING that will please them!
