Bella's has gained notoriety over the years not only with its yummy Italian menu, but also because of the fact that it is available late-night as well.  Located on Howard Avenue in Soho, this restaurant is also open for lunch Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and salads, a variety of paninis and other sandwiches, calzones, strombolis, pizzas and select pasta dishes are available.

Or for dinner, kick off the meal with a cocktail or glass of wine from the diverse wine list and munch on the formaggio al forno (baked goat cheese with garlic toasts for dipping). For light eating, try sweet and sour strawberry salad or the Bella's famous chopped salad (chicken breast, crumbled bacon, sun-dried and regular tomatoes, red cabbage, gorgonzola, ditali pasta and romaine lettuce with a dijon vinaigrette) and half or full portions are available.  A few notable entrees include spaghetti and meatballs, grouper or pollo (chicken) rosso, spaghetti carbonara (ham, bacon, egg, cream, and parmesan cheese) and penne florentine (penne pasta with spinach, mushrooms, fresh tomato, garlic, and goat cheese).

And to satisfy that sweet tooth, indulge in the "Vesuvio": this dessert (named after the real volcano in Italy) has melted chocolate oozing out of a rich chocolate cake topped with powdered sugar and plated with a side of vanilla ice cream. Dusted with powdered sugar and served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
