Miguel’s has been a South Tampa staple for years and is popular with both the lunch and dinner crowd. Authentic Mexican fare is served in a smallish café with cozy tables and a bar sandwiched between a polished concrete floor and a purple ceiling. The menu boasts dishes you’d expect to find at a Mexican restaurant: chips and salsa, burritos, enchiladas, tacos and – for the indecisive – combinations. But Miguel’s bumps it up a notch and takes advantage of Tampa Bay’s seafood-loving community, offering entrees that include Fajitas Ixtapa (includes lobster), seafood enchiladas and chimichangas and Mexican seafood platters.
