"The Cadillac of Spring Training facilities" has also hosted concert acts, such as the Beach Boys and Willie Nelson. The 53-acre site is home to baseball great's Cincinatti Reds spring training and once the Chicago White Sox training. The city of Sarasota utilizes the stadium as a Sports Complex. A variety of  clinics, festivals, circuses, concerts, car shows, private rentals, tv broadcasts and commercials have utilized the spectacle of a park. At night fire works can be heard and seen throughout the neighborhood at the end of some of the gatherings.
