Originally founded in 1930 as the Clearwater Players, the 182-seat Francis Wilson Playhouse opened in 1936. The Playhouse has hosted over 7,000 performances in its history of nearly 80 years. Each season features a mix of comedy, drama, musical theatre and a murder mystery. The Playhouse has few paid staff members, relying on dedicated volunteers to present quality community theatre.
