Stardate: November 17, 1978
What Was It? Not so much “good” as it is “laughably bad” (though it was also, at times, unwatchably bad, embarrassingly bad and painfully bad), this very special—in which Han Solo (yes, they got Harrison Ford) helps Chewbacca get home for Life Day—was very '70s, complete with appearances by Harvey Korman and Art Carney and musical numbers from Bea Arthur and Jefferson Starship.
On DVD: Not officially, Lucas won’t allow it, but you can find bootlegs—some of which include the commercials that aired during the show—at some sci-fi conventions and comic book stores.
