Although no one is really sure just how old Grampa is, his senility is undeniable. Born Abraham "Abe" J. Simpson, Homer's father was a soldier, pilot and can-can dancer in WWII, although he often claims to have fought in WWI as well. Other past jobs include night-watchman at a cranberry silo, Krusty Burger employee and even matador.
